Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades to gear increase its stats base and often enhances its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are made available.
For example, the elite shield for racial discrimination Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to reroll a purchased item like an armor, weapon or rings. This replaces the item with another of the same kind and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't maintain the original level of the item, and any resources wasted won't get compensated.
Survivors can obtain Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates, or purchased from the market at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute of an item that could include increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can roll equipment with three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Physical power increases the damage that melee and weapons while spell power improves rings and mage attacks. item upgrading provide the player with additional health.
There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare, and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a better quality and requires a higher-quality reroll token order to create it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
Unlike item upgrading and markers that are placed on action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the spot until the next successful result is to be rerolled. This allows you to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.
Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the start of each Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by grasping them. Once they are open they show a complete description and icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's store will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
In the course of an event, blueprints may be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on the choice of Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These stones are special stones which increase the value of an item by increasing its stats or characteristics. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. They can also be obtained by players who sign daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players must first locate the appropriate item and then click on the "level up" button. The menu will appear that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being leveled up as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.
After deciding on the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. Once the player has met the requirements, they can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. The process of upgrading can last from a few seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is also risk-free and doesn't affect the durability of the item. The system is an excellent option for players who want to get an edge in battle but don't want spend a lot of money. Moreover players can transfer experience and the progress of an upgraded item to a new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are numerous ways to obtain them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Additionally players can cut down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows players to increase the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It is achieved by the combination of an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade materials and give the item an increased level, which gives the item an additional boost in the area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item has been attained.
Items with upgraded base stats will display a blue icon in their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components cannot be stacked against each other, and can only be added to a single item at one time. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a specific number of items to be applied in addition to an appropriate level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the left one is where players can put in a piece of equipment to be upgraded, and the right shows a preview of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once a player has sufficient materials will start the upgrading process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an item reaches the highest level, upgrades will not be available to it. Once a piece of equipment reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to the track will be offered at a discount.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can slot into weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to give an additional benefit or bonus when the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs which can be removed and replaced at will.
Requirements
Upgrades to items allow players to increase certain stats of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item differ depending on the type of item, but you'll typically need Dilithium and an amount of Upgrade Tokens.
Items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to weapons and equipment. These will provide more effects or an improved quality of the item. The upgrades can be acquired from various sources in the game, including through crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an item, it can't be removed and replaced freely, however, the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped without restriction.
Upgrades can increase the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can increase the item's stats.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" for instance, increases the base defense and gives an additional 20 percent chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire", on the other hand increases damage to weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players if they can get an exact roll. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.
The game will highlight the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the item. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
Once you've met the required conditions for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will update to indicate how close to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
